Although the ‘heart’ of Living Stones is composed of youths and young adults aged between 18 to 35 years old, we are always on the look-out for that generous and experienced helping hand, even if you happen to be older! Be it through formation, administrative or financial support, or even a simple prayer, you can be just as invaluable to assist us in reaching our mission!
We could always do with extra help in publicizing and promoting the Living Stones communities and the international camps. You may be able to help us in one (or more) of the following ways:
– Do you have skills in graphic design? …you could help us in preparing posters and other visual material!
– Are you good with photography or a video camera?…you could help us illustrate what Living Stones is!
– Do you have web design skills?
– Do you know any youths or young adults who might be interested in Living Stones?…you could introduce us to them!
– Do you know of any hard-to-reach groups of people (homeless persons, prisoners/detainees, refugees… ) who may enjoy our visits?…you could put us in touch with them!
During our international meetings and camps, we often need assistance:
– Are you able to cook for a group of 20-30 people?
– Can you donate any food, or help us gather it?
Formation is another important factor in Living Stones, which requires a different skill set, and assistance:
– Are you an archaeologist? Or a professor or a researcher in biblical studies, art history, theology or anthropology?
– Do you know how to make layouts for short publications?
– Are you good with languages?… you could help in translating from/to English, French, Spanish, German or Italian!
And lastly, we also need financial help, particularly in order to make our formation camps and international meetings more accessible to students and youths, particularly those who do not have the means to do so!
