FROM DEATH TO LIFE
Easter spiritual exercises for Living Stones at “Le Sorgenti”, Community Emmanuel, Lecce, Italy. March 28 – April 2, 2018
The Community Emmanuel is a community for drug addicted where thousands of people have already walked out a lot of “deaths”. Next to it, in the outskirts of Lecce, an unusual centre of spirituality called “Le Sorgenti” is born.
We will spend four days in personal prayer and silence, following the method of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. The silence will be further enriched with testimonials and moments of sharing with the host community. We will also deepen the meaning of the Easter liturgies that we will celebrate with the residents of the Community Emmanuel and the educators.

Logistical details: The exercises will start on Wednesday 28 March (evening) (around 7.00pm), and will end with lunch on Monday 2 April 2018.
The fee is between Eur 60 – Eur 140, but depends on the possibilities of each person.
Bring with you a Bible, pen and diary, sleeping bag and personal belongings, as well as local food/drink for the first dinner.
How to arrive:
For those who will be arriving by plane from BRINDISI, there is a shuttle bus which connects Brindisi airport to LECCE center (it stops in piazzale C. Bene).
From the square in front of Lecce train station, it is possible to catch Bus n.26 which connects the city centre to the street Provinciale per Novoli, where the Spiritual centre “Le Sorgenti” is located: S.da P.le Lecce – Novoli n.23 -73100 – Lecce.
