Summer Camp in Greece 2020

 
A week-long formation camp on the origins of Christianity. How did the pagan culture influence early Christianity? What are the radical differences between Christianity and Paganism? How were the first Christian communities founded by Saint Paul born?

One week of theological and archeological formation in Greece for an in-depth understanding of the faith in its first encounter with paganism and Judaism. Visits to archeological sites and museums in Athens, Corinth, Epidauros, Eleusis, Mycenes, Delphi, classes and personal study in community life, prayer and sharing.
 
Dates: August 30 – September 6 2020
 
Guides: Jean-Paul Hernandez SJ, Theodore Kodidis SJ, Valentina Cammarota, Dan Ruscu, Emanuele Gambuti.
 
Accommodation: Jesuit retreat house in Oinoi (Attica).
 
What to bring: bible, notepad, sleeping bag (or sheets), towels, swimming costume.
 
Cost: 280 € + flight and travel
NB: Financial problems should not be a reason not to come.
